Coach Grace’s Background

A summer league swim team member starting at the age of 6, Coach Grace was introduced to the sport early. She added running into the mix when she joined a year-round running team at the age of 10 and continued with them until high school. Once in high school, she became a 3-sport athlete in cross country, swimming, and track. Grace also tried year-round swimming for 2 months during her Junior year, but decided that she enjoyed cross country too much to give it up. After high school graduation, Grace joined the Rollins College Swim Team where she became a distance freestyle athlete. At Rollins, she graduated college with 3 school records in the 500, 1000, and 1650 freestyle events, along with NCAA-B standard times. After graduation, she started taking Anatomy and Physiology classes while working as a Physical Therapy Aide at The Shepherd Center. During this time, Grace’s love for triathlon came to fruition. She started training consistently and competed at the highest level in the amateur field. After becoming the first amateur female in Ironman 70.3 history to win Overall (men and women) at Gulf Coast 70.3 in 2020, she decided to go Professional in 2021. While racing professionally, Grace finished up her Masters program in Health and Exercise Science and has been enjoying sharing her passion and knowledge with those around her!
